My SA Memory - get involved!

Postcard SnippetSA Memory is an online gateway to South Australian culture and heritage, past and present. This multimedia website developed by the State Library of South Australia focuses on the South Australian experience - what makes South Australia different. SA Memory illustrates and interprets themes highlighting South Australia's people, places, issues and events from the colony's beginnings to now. Selected items from the collections of the State Library of South Australia and contributing cultural institutions highlight the state's history and development.

SA Memory features a wide range of materials including photographs, art works, maps, posters, artefacts, manuscripts, newspapers, film and sound recordings, all with informative description. Digitisation makes them accessible state wide and beyond. Further reading suggestions and web links support and encourage inquiry.
