Description :
Rosslyn Anderson is an Adelaide artist specialising in mosaic work. Since the mid-1990s she has produced works for businesses, private homes and churches, including the Lemon Grass Bistro in Rundle Street and the 2004 South Australian Home of the Year. She has a degree in graphic arts from the South Australian School of Art and gained a certificate in compoloid work in San Francisco. In 2005 she began work on a series of six mosaics for the St. Ignatius Senior School chapel at Athelstone. Her portrait of St. Ignatius is based on a window in the Norwood Catholic Church, with additional symbols of Australian flora. Ros is currently one of twenty artists working from the Adelaide Central Studios in Grote Street where her standard poodle, Harry, is a regular companion.
